Effective tattoo removal by Candice Watson & Exclusive Aesthetic.
Let’s be honest, how many people who decided at a younger more flamboyant age that they wanted a tattoo? Only to have one done and then some years after regret it and wonder what they are now going to do with this faded, turquoise blue image that they no longer remember what it was meant to symbolise for them in the first place.
Exclusive Aesthetic offers a very effective procedure for tattoo removal using a method called Rejuvi. As micropigmentation specialists to the Middle East we are asked to correct or remove poorly performed semi permanent make up procedures and the Rejuvi method is the only method we use to remove pigment from the delicate areas of the face.
We have performed several thousand tattoo removal procedures using the Rejuvi method and based on our experience the Rejuvi method is by far the most effective tattoo removal procedure available.
The Rejuvi Method of Tattoo Removal was developed 12 years ago and was quickly adopted by micropigmentation specialists as the preferred removal method for semi permanent make up and medical micropigmentation.
Rejuvi tattoo removal uses a similar technique to applying a tattoo or micropigmentation treatment. The same micropigmentation equipment and needles are used however the coloured pigment is replaced with a specially formulated tattoo removal cream.
Once implanted the Rejuvi cream attaches and captures the pigment particles, a little like a magnet, which then is naturally expelled from the skin the same as any other foreign body. The expelled cream and pigment forms a hard crust over the removals area which over the course of several weeks after the tattoo removal treatment, falls away taking the pigment contained within the cream with it.
The Rejuvi method of tattoo removal a gentler method than other forms of tattoo removal with results visible over a much shorter amount of time. A typical tattoo removal can be achieved in 2-3 treatments. Each treatment is usually spaced 6-12 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal. In some extreme cases, dependent on the size and colour of the tattoo to be removed, 9 or 10 sessions may be required however the end result is the same, the tattoo pigment is no longer visible and the tattoo is removed. This will be explained to at the consultation or prior to removal session.
Another benefit of Rejuvi is that it is effective on all colours of pigment unlike laser removal which is only effective on specific colours.
When the tattoo removals course is complete the skin will have a red tinge to it for some weeks to follow and will then become lighter than the surrounding skin, this is purely because it is now new fresh skin and needs time to acclimatise to things before the skin returns to its natural state which will take a few months. Although we believe this to be the very best and most effective method of tattoo or SPMU removal there is a minimal risk of scarring and aftercare should be adhered to carefully (although this is fairly simple). Rejuvi tattoo removal method is NOT a home method and MUST be performed in a medical clinic by a specially trained technician in tattoo removals and the Rejuvi method.
All treatments are performed at The London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery (LCAS) in Healthcare City, Dubai. LCAS is a medical clinic adhering to the highest hygiene and health and safety standards so you really are in the best and safest hands.

Tattoo Removal treatments cause irritation and swelling to the treatment area. In some cases there may also be redness however this will subside very quickly. Normal activities may resume immediately following the procedure. You will be given after care instructions at your treatment appointment.
We are specialist Micropigmentation experts to the Middle East. All our treatments including tattoo removal meet Dubai Municipality and Ministry of Health regulations.
We do not recommend other tattoo removal systems however here are a few with a brief explanation and pros and cons of each.
Based on what we read on the internet and in magazines, there are many different ways to remove a tattoo. Below we have listed the various methods of tattoo removal available along with the pros and cons so that you can then make an informed choice of how you would like to proceed with your tattoo removal.
By far the most marketed and known method of tattoo removal. Laser tattoo removal is very painful, it is time consuming (we have known people go on a monthly basis for over 2 years and still not seen the result they are looking for) this also in turn leads on to becoming very expensive. Another problem you find with laser technicians (especially here in the Middle East) is that they will never commit to a time scale or how many sessions you might need, this is because they simply don’t know and further more are also very unsure if the laser will remove the whole tattoo at all.
You also have a big risk of scarring with laser removal.
The way Laser is ‘Supposed’ to remove your tattoo is by exploding the pigment particles which will then eventually (hopefully) over many sessions become so small that they disappear. This sounds reasonable right? Wrong! The pigment is being exploded back into the body and the blood stream, ALL body tattoo pigments and some SPMU pigment contain carcinogenic ingredients, if these are being blasted by laser back into the body causing at best allergies and rashes and at worst tumours and cancer, this in itself is why to steer clear of laser removal, however just to add to the problems with this method of tattoo removal, the appearance of the tattoo will become uneven and will spread out in the skin, giving you a very unpleasant look.
Advantages to this method of Tattoo removal, basically none!
Saline solution is a very safe way to remove tattoo pigments from the skin, unfortunately only when the removal is done immediately after having the treatment. This of course wouldn’t make sense if you have decided to have the tattoo or SPMU treatment done, however, what it is good for is if there has been a mistake made during the treatment and you need it removed straight away, for instance a line or some pigment has been put in and looks wrong or is uneven, for this problem saline is an effective and safe method of removing the pigment. However if the tattooed area has healed then Saline will have very little or no effect and is a waste of time and money to perform.
Of course the main problem of getting rid of the tattooed area is fully resolved through these methods and you certainly won’t be left with any pigment in the skin, however, these are drastic measures to take and should only ever need to be done if the area to be removed is very large and other methods have proved fruitless. With surgery and skin grafts you are of course going to have to be in a hospital and have a heavy aesthetic administered, you then have a lengthy healing time and you will definitely be left with some scarring however good the surgeon is.
These creams are completely pain free, require no visits to specialists and can be done in the comfort of your own home, what more could you want?! They must remove tattoos though right?
Although there are 1 or 2 creams that over the period of 12-24 months have given fairly impressive results for a cream, there is still no evidence that these creams alone will totally remove the tattoo and they take dedication and constant use over a long period of time to have any effect, ending up actually costing more than other removal techniques and taking a very long time. Our advice, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
We are very skeptical about these methods for tattoo removal. Although very successful for mild skin resurfacing and exfoliation, when used for actually removing tattoos you would need to go fairly deeply into the skin and have many treatments for any worth while results, this can in turn cause scarring, calluses or infections so extreme caution needs to be taken when using this method of tattoo removal.
